Seed Starting Soil Recipe
Your seeds deserve a solid foundation to sprout in. Below is our favorite seed starting recipe to start your own seeds.
-
1 block of coco coir
-
2 cups vermiculite
-
1.5 cups of perlite
-
2 cups compost soil
-
1/8 cup of cinnamon
Reconstitute the coco coir with water until it is soaked thoroughly. It will expand as it absorbs water so make sure your seed starting container is a large tote. Mix in the remaining ingredients and make sure they are evening distributed. Your seed starting mix should be wet but not muddy. Pack into your seed trays and place 1 seed per cell.
